Lemon Iced Tea
healthy yet delicious iced tea recipe
Servings: 4 glasses
- 1 L water
- 3 black tea bags
- 2 large lemons
- 1 lime
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- mint leaves
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Pour the boiling water into a heat-proof pitcher. Add your tea bags and let them steep for about 10 minutes.
Wash and slice your lemons and your lime.
Remove the tea bags and stir in your sugar.
Now add in your lemon juice and stir again.
Now add in your lime and lemon slices and let it sit in the fridge for like an hour to chill. You can even leave it in the fridge overnight.
To serve pour some ice cubes into a glass and add lemon and lime slices. Pour the tea over the ice and lemon and lime slices to serve.
Garnish with some mint leaves
