Suzz Blaqq is a ghanaian songwriter and a soulsinger who was raised amongst three elder brothers.
Growing up, her love for music has circulated mostly around Hip Hop and RnB Soul not realizing other genres of music.
Her introduction to other genres of music started during her high school days in Aggrey Memorial SHS in the Central Region of Ghana where she made friends who were purely “secular music lovers” as they were people she could only relate better with.
This has made her develop passionate love looking up to artistes like Efya, Stonebwoy, ASA, Lauryn Hill, Beyoncé, Chronixx and Eryka Badu.
Suzz Blaqq started writing her own songs from then with the passion she had in doing music and since then it has been an inspiring experience for her as she finds herself sounding like all her favorite artistes aforementioned put on every song of her’s.
Being a soul singer, even though mixed with pidgin and having the idea of spreading positive energy, her songs are mostly about “failed love” and “hustle”.
